The Cosmonauts are the main work force for the KGB on the Solaris moon base. They also serve as its army for protection against its enemies.

The Cosmonauts were employed by the Blisk to build their superweapon to turn Earth into an irradiated ocean paradise. They wear spacesuits so they can survive on the moon.
They are usually armed with laser guns and grenades or rocket launchers to attack their foes. They drive around in lunar rovers. They also have armored transports and rovers that function as laser tanks and surface-to-air missile launchers.
